Chasing

C A Drillers have many years experience of Wall and floor chasing which is used primarily to provide for pipes, conduits and trunking.

The chase is formed using a hand-held electric grinder with a diamond blade. Two slots are cut to a precise width and depth and the concrete is removed using a hammer drill or small breaker.

We form chases to very precise widths and depths using abrasive or diamond blades. We can chase in all types of brickwork and blockwork including rendered and plastered surfaces, concrete and screeds. In addition, we can undertake the cutting of tuck-in for lead and asphalt. If required we have the facility to provide dust control.

Using a method of vacuum dust control while cutting precise neat channels in concrete or masonry structures is particularly useful if the premises are occupied as this captures the dust before it escapes into the surrounding atmosphere.
