Diamond Track Sawing
Diamond Track Sawing is the ideal solution when access is a problem or work has to be carried out in a confined area. Diamond Track Sawing is the best way to cut reinforced concrete, blockwork, masonry and other materials.
The track mounted saw, which uses a diamond blade, offers a fast and neat method of forming any size of door or window openings in either walls or floors. The track is bolted to any wall or steep incline which prevents the use of a floor saw. Whilst mainly used for the formation of door openings, this remotely operated equipment can be used to create extremely accurate openings in any concrete structure.
A track supports a travelling sled and circular diamond steel blade. The track is bolted to the concrete surface, such as a wall or floor. The sled travels backwards and forwards along the track powered by either an hydraulic or electric motor, with a cut being made as the blade makes a series of passes over the surface area. This cutting method can be used to cut openings of up to 750mm depth.
C A Drillers have a number of purpose-built track saws for all applications, with blades from 450mm to over 2m in diameter.
