The Job

CA Drillers were brought in to carry out precise concrete cutting and drilling works on a commercial site in Central London.

The project involved working through reinforced concrete, with very little room for error. Accuracy was essential to ensure the concrete could be removed safely and to allow follow-on works to continue without delay.

Our Scope of Works

We completed the following specialist works:

Diamond Drilling

• Drilled 5 holes at 152mm diameter

• Each hole drilled to 230mm depth

• Holes positioned above the horizontal cut line

• This allowed accurate vertical cuts and prevented overfitting

Hand Saw Cutting

• Completed 5 vertical hand saw cuts

• Each cut measured 1.2 metres long

• Cutting depth of 230mm

• Cuts were aligned precisely for controlled concrete removal

Track Sawing

• Carried out 16.7 metres of track sawing

• Cut to a depth of 230mm

• Through reinforced concrete

• Completed at a slight angle to meet structural requirements
